Many people don’t want to read this, but it’s often what they need most.

When you discover the trick, the spell loses its power over you.
The problem is discovering the trick.
I used to self-sabotage, aka spell myself, by telling myself things like “Don’t put this title because it works,” “Don’t put this image in the article because it works,” “And if you always do what works for you, people will get tired of you.”
So, I ended up being mediocre and not giving readers what I knew they wanted to read but what my self-sabotaging mind wanted to send.
Why?
At first, I thought it was fear of success, but it wasn’t
It was fear of rejection. — That was the trick of my subconscious part.
I was self-sabotaging myself so that I could blame bad luck, circumstances, or others and not assume that if I screwed up, it was my fault.
Because assuming my guilt made me feel “not enough.”
And feeling not enough reopened an old wound deep inside me.
But in the end, whether I tried to avoid it or not, I always felt I was not enough.
When my wound was bleeding, I was not thinking clearly.
