Here are four thoughts that I have selected for you from several interviews that Dr. Harari gave, among others, to Natali Portman or the prestigious TED organization.

Four powerful revelations forever changed the way I look at life, and I hope they do the same for your perception.

1. On Decision-making

โ€œHumans think about life as a drama full of decision-making, what will be the meaning of human life if most decisions are taking by algorithms?โ€

Yuval Noah Harari says that in his talk, โ€œHow to Survive the 21st Centuryโ€ in the World Economic Forum, at Davos in 2020.

And for me, it was a revelation.

Human beings are designed to make decisions and live the experience.

Without that experience, nothing makes sense; human beings have no meaning.

Optimization will make us obsolete, so what are the point of so much technology and so many optimizing algorithms?

I used to ask myself, what is the use of lowering costs in the production and labor of the goods and services we consume?

And many will think that to be competitive.

Ok, I agree. But letโ€™s imagine that we manage to lower production costs and workersโ€™ wages to the minimum.
